I managed to take a week off from both by jobs, I flew to Costa Rica, I backpacked that country solo and it was a game changer for me, I met so many people from all over the world, some of which were traveling for years on end.
After that trip I want back to work, saved up enough money to travel for one year. I quit my jobs, I even convinced two other friends to travel with me.
We traveled the US, 23 states in one year and that trip was absolutely epic. During that year I discovered a way to make money while traveling, at the end of that trip, my friends went back to the 9 to 5 and I continued to work remotely and travel.
Just a few months, later I traveled 8 countries in 6 months. Funding those travels by working remotely, and flying for free through travel hacking.
Fast forward to a few years later, I've worked from 21 countries, and I am still traveling 3-6 months out of every year.

Whats the visa situation for working in different countries as a Digital Nomad?
Hey guys, I'm here in the Bahamas and a couple of people were asking how's the visa situation? How do you work from different countries as a Digital Nomad? A lot of countries are coming out with Digital Nomad Visas. Even the Bahamas has one now. You can work for up to a year on a Digital Nomad Visa. Otherwise, a lot of times you just work on your tourist visa and then ask for an extension or move. It varies by country totally doable.
WHERE to travel as a Digital Nomad?
When you become a Digital Nomad. How do you decide where to travel? For me it's the weather, I want warm weather. I hate the cold in the winter. So Mexico, Latin America and Southeast Asia are my favorites. The second thing that I am thinking about is the cost of living. I want the cost of living to be anywhere from 30-50% less than at home.
How to Find Good Internet all Over the World
How do you know that you are going to have good internet work wherever you are going to be at. For me the top places to book my stay is booking.com and Airbnb. Both of those can show you how good the internet is. Booking allows people to rate the internet while Airbnb allows the hosts to test their internet and it the results can be shown on the listing. I always carry a Global Hotspot with me wherever I go as a back up. It allows you to put in a local SIM card or to buy data to over 150 countries on the fly. You can buy a day pass or even a block of Gigabytes. I've used mine since 2018 and it has been a lifesaver so many times. Below is the link to a much more update version of the one that I use.
